Madex, the ultimate marketing, advertising, design, social media and all that good stuff expo, was the proud winner of two prestigious AAXO (African Association of Exhibition Organisers) ROAR (Respect, Opportunities, Achievement, Recognition) 2017 awards last week.
The show came out as number one within both the ‘Best Trade Show under 6,000m2’ and the ‘Best Expo Social Media’ categories, a real coup for a show that was launched just last year.
The ROAR awards are aimed at acknowledging and recognising excellence in exhibition organisation. Entries for the trade show category were judged based on successful strategy – incorporating marketing, PR, operations and activation. Criteria for the social media campaign award included the show’s social media campaign objectives versus outcomes.
As the event organiser, we put a huge amount of time and effort into the inaugural Madex show last year, and this type of formal acknowledgement validates the Madex brand, and everything behind it. There is nothing more gratifying than recognition from your peers in the industry for a job well done!
