The next Food & Hospitality Africa (F&HA) Show, powered by Hostex, will be taking place from 7 May to 9 May 2017 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand. Hostex – with a three decade track record – will in 2017 power Food & Hospitality Africa to present the industry with an extraordinary food expo.

The launch of Food & Hospitality Africa in 2016 was nothing short of remarkable. It was the first time the two trade shows co-located at Gallagher Convention Centre from 3 to 5 May, with 300 exhibitors from 28 countries worldwide showcasing their products and services to over 6 400 trade visitors. A whopping 99% of surveyed visitors in 2016 said they would return to the 2017 show which will continue to deliver key buyers.

Food & Hospitality Africa powered by Hostex offers exhibitors a platform to exhibit and showcase a large variety of products, ideas and services. As an established industry platform, Hostex carries a 30 year history and is the biggest Pan-African show of its kind – bringing the seller much closer to the buyer for specific interaction. The original organisers, Specialised Exhibitions and Fresh Montgomery understand the key role of the buyer and the power shift from the seller to the buyer….what better way to render your services, than assisting exhibitors by providing the perfect platform to grow their businesses? F&HA has successfully delivered on this by strategically placing the buyer and seller under one roof, providing an exciting show which actively and simultaneously takes cognisance of exhibitors’ and buyers’ needs.

F&HA encompasses industry sectors such as: retail, hospitality, restaurants, foodservice and catering. Exhibitors have the opportunity to engage all the senses, and also perform free demonstrations face-to-face with visitors to assist them in making that big decision. Exhibitor, Adam Penn from Laundry Kitchen Washroom (LKW) said: “The show was absolutely amazing, and the quality of visitors at our stand was also very good. Exhibiting has been positive and because the show attracted the right visitors, we doubled our leads day-on-day”.

Hostex powering Food & Hospitality Africa 2017 guarantees an even better show, raising the ante and stepping up exhibitor and visitor satisfaction alike. Projections in terms of number of exhibitors and visitors have increased once again, reassuring all stakeholders of worthwhile ROI. The first and most important question potential exhibitors would ask is: why should I exhibit? The answer is, of course, to deliver on set objectives, whether they are to generate on-site sales and sales leads, enjoy unrivalled marketing exposure or demonstrate their products in a live, vibrant environment to the industry.

This is what exhibitors and visitors can expect at F&HA in 2017 – whether you want to gain intensive and cutting-edge knowledge from industry captains at the free-to-attend seminars, show off your latest innovations, engage with industry decision makers, participate in expert competitions, and get to know our industry associations and partnerships. We have plenty in store, so watch this space….
